This is correct the easiest way is to perform a static NAT with the host
running Cisco VPN client.

Are you NAT'ing? If so, you need to create another outside address and do
address translation for you inside host to the new IP address.
I have never tried to set up a pool for a whole network, so I can't tell
you how to do that. (not that you asked)

Subject: [FW-1] Cisco VPN Client behind a Check Point Fw
Hi everybody,
Somebody knows how to make a successful vpn connection
between a Cisco VPN Client (inside a LAN behind Check
Point FW) and a VPN Cisco Gateway ??
I permit "any" services in my Check Point, but the log
shows me this message from the Cisco VPN Gateway to my
Check Point:
"encryption failure: Unknown SPI: 0x6e4e0f45 for IPsec
packet."
I appreciate any help o comments.
Thanks,
Oliver.
