Hi, How do I setup natting for my SMTP server, so that outbound SMTP traffic comes from the same IP as the inbound traffic? I am figuring on a manual NAT rule, but I am unsure on how to do it. Thanks, Sean
Assuming these are two different machines since you are asking the question this way. For the outbound machine, you can just use automatic NAT in the object property tab. As for the inbound box, depending on the way you are setting up your mail services, is this a mail gateway box that sits in the dmz and will scan/forward the incoming emails to the internal mail server(s)? you may have to use manual static nat in this case if you don't want the box to talk to your internal mail server with the NATed internet IP. - Yang ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
