Mine is about five seconds. 1.7 GHz laptop with 1 GB of RAM. How many hops
are you away from the actual SmartCenter server?

If the SmartClients suite would be stanard written it would run on
anything from win98 to vista.
I never understood why it takes so damn long for smartdashboard to load
and give you the login prompt. I mean it takes longer to load than one
of my linux boxes to boot...
