'Bad reply' means the product is not installed or the policy has not been pushed to the gateway after its properties were changed to reflect SVM. If this is under some gateway status, check to see if SmartView Monitor (SVM) is installed on the gateway - may be you checked SmartView Monitor' in the gateway properties under 'installed products' but actually did not install SVM. - since this message never was there for a year now, you either have a new firewall that has just been brought into this SmartCenter domain or some configuration got accidentally changed ....

Hi All, We are running a Smartcenter server on Windows 2000. CP version is R60 with HFA02. Since a few days the status under Smartview Monitor shows "Bad Reply". The setup has been working since more than 1 year. Is there something we can check? Couldn't find a suitable solution in SK.
