Bhavin,

'Bad reply' fundamentally points to a misconfiguration as I stated in my
earlier message - if the message appears under any object, please check to
ensure it is configured correctly in SmartDashboard vs what is actually
installed/licensed on it.
So, you mean the object under which you see this message for SVM in
SmartUpdate, is SmartCenter? I guess if you dig in a bit into that object,
you would find the cause but if it is not visible, the best course will be
to open a ticket w/ Support.

Hi Rajeev,

Thanks for the reply. But this message is for the SC Server only. All the
modules are reporting proper status. No new FW's have been added.

Anything else we can check for.....

Cheers,
B

'Bad reply' means the product is not installed or the policy has not been
pushed to the gateway after its properties were changed to reflect SVM. If
this is under some gateway status, check to see if SmartView Monitor (SVM)
is installed on the gateway - may be you checked SmartView Monitor' in the
gateway properties under 'installed products' but actually did not install
SVM. - since this message never was there for a year now, you either have
a new firewall that has just been brought into this SmartCenter domain or
some configuration got accidentally changed ....
