Sorry I stand corrected. Indeed a change made for DST in hfa-04 and hfa-19 for the splat OS with no mention of it in the RN's, not really a bug but an addressed issue none the less. I find the lack of documentation more frustrating than peculiar. I really love the ones that mention "stability".

From SK32456: ------------------ The following versions of SecurePlatform are certified by Check Point to be compliant with the new DST: VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG with AI R55 HFA_19 VPN-1 Pro NGX R60 HFA_04 VPN-1 Pro NGX NGX R61 take 56 (dated Aug 2006) or VPN-1 Pro NGX R61 HFA_01 Note: In order to verify whether take 56 is installed, run the ver command. "Build 133" means take 56 is NOT installed. "Build 139" means take 56 IS installed. Note that if you choose to install HFA_01, it is still going to say "build 133" but DST will work. VPN-1 Pro NGX R62 You MUST use the sysconfig utility for DST 2007 to function correctly. You will need to set the time, date, or time zone all over again if you use the command line at anytime. If you use setdate, date, or time commands at the command line, then DST will not work. Check Point recommends to always upgrade to a recent version, and to the most recent HFA (HotFix Accumulator) of this version. ------------------ Which is why I find it, to say the least, peculiar, that they haven't actually mentioned any word of DST issues in the HFA. Normally, SPLAT OS bugfixes appear in the release notes for the relevant HFA.
