Do they have admin rights to their computers? If so, you can create a package with Check Point and give it to them ahead of time. They can uninstall NetScreen and install Check point when you're ready to switch over.

Or do you have sufficient public IP addresses where you can put FW-1 on a new IP address and put the NetScreen box either behind it or in parallel.

Is the NetScreen IPSec or PPTP?

Subject: [FW-1] Check Point Dial-up VPN Secure Remote.
Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2007 12:27:22 +0530

Hi,

I am in process of migrating my Netsceen Dial up VPN users to Cehck
Point. My difficulty is, at present 500 users are access my server
behind netscreen and hence I can move this server behind check point
firewall as this will result in 500 users coordination for setting up
check Point secure remote client. Is any one has come across such
situation? Possible option I can think is 1) Make netscreen dial up VPN
Client work with Checkpoint. 2) Find out generic VPN client which can
work with all existing netscreen SPD ( Netscreen Dial up VPN
configuration file ) to connect with CP.

But neither do I have come across such scenario nor do I have straight
forwards path for migration. Can any one help me with above situation ?

Thanks in advance ..

Regards,
Rajesh Y.
