Have you tested installing the SecuRemote software while the NetScreen software is installed? That may be a solution.

Thanks for your valuable information. I am looking for seamless
migration where I need not want to have any client end intervention for
time being ( Till I switch over to checkpoint firewall ) . After word I
can coordinate with set of users and get them migrated to CheckPoint
SecureRemote Client.

Netscreen is IP Sec ..

Do they have admin rights to their computers? If so, you can create a
package with Check Point and give it to them ahead of time. They can
uninstall NetScreen and install Check point when you're ready to switch
over.

Or do you have sufficient public IP addresses where you can put FW-1 on
a
new IP address and put the NetScreen box either behind it or in
parallel.

Is the NetScreen IPSec or PPTP?
