So, if anyone is interested, I created a fw-1 list at:

(please accept the self signed certificate)
so far we have three options:
- move to fw1-gurus
- move to a web based forum
- use the list I just created
the new list is not moderated and I have to think if accepting
attachements is a viable way bandwidth wise.
