If they are centrally managed. Just try this one:
 - Edit the HTTP definition and disable the HTTP protocol handling.
 - Install the policy (On and Edge it might take a while untill the change
   filtered through.

Then try it again and see if it makes a difference. This assumes the transfer is with HTTP traffic to begin with.

Check Point figures are sales figures. The tend to be optimistic and based on older firmware. The newer firmware added new features which will cost you perfance. As a support engineer I tend to hold (slightly) different views on real life performance figures.
