Hi All,
I was under impression that in order to have a Customer Log
Module (CLM), an MDS Container called Multi-Customer Log
Module (MLM) must exists. I am NOT talking about the
standalone log server.
However, according to Provider-1 R61 user guide, I do not
need to have an MLM container to house the CLM. On page
173 of the P-1 R61 user guide, it states:
The CLM is housed on an MDS Container. It is possible
to setup a CLM on ANY MDS Container in the system, as
long as the MDS does not have another CMA or CLM of the
same Customer on it.
If that true, I can have an MDS (Manager+Container) MDS-1
and another MDS Container MDS-2 , NOT MLM, and that
I can place a CLM on the MDS-2 and also have CMAs for
other customers on MDS-2 as well.
Can someone confirm this? Thanks.
