Thank you very much Rajeev. Your explaination makes complete sense NOT to have CLM on the MDS container that is not MLM due to license. Just because it works doesn't mean it should be done.
Thanks again Rajeev Gupta <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: There is no problem doing that - meaning on a 'container' where you normally house CMAs to have CLMs but imagine the problem - CLMs do not have licenses of their own - they are 'counted' off MLM global lic but in a mix env, how would you license those CLMs? From "It is possible to setup a CLM on ANY MDS Container in the system, as long as the MDS does not have another CMA or CLM of the same Customer on it" - what can be understood is that you can have a CLM on a 'separate MDS container' so long as you do not have another CMA or a CLM already existing there - meaning Provider-1 gives the ability to create multiple CMAs to provide redundancy (basically, one Primary and another Secondary) but the condition is the second CMA has to exist on a separate MDS Container - extending this, what it is saying is instead of the Second CMA, you can create a CLM there - further more, there is no difference between a 'Container' housing CMAs or CLMs - but for practical and business reasons, you would rather go for setting up a MLM if you need to have CLMs. Hope this helps clarify - but we can discuss more.....
