 Hi All,
How does one go about backing up checkpoint Secureplatform Enforcement
Modules? Since upgrade_export does not work on Enforcement Module.
What is the best practice in backing up Enforcement module?
with "backup" command?
Hi,
the thing is that most of all the checkpoint stuff is supposed to be on the smartcenter. the only thing that is not saved is the local configuration (ip addresses, routes, etc).

you can use the backup command, but sometimes it's quite hard to restore from a backup.

I'd rather save the /etc directory that should contain all the relevant configs and starting scripts,
but it means you have to reinstall the box in case of a crash.
 Thanks.
