Authentication time-out maybe... It will ask re-authentication before the
connection times out.
Another reason I have seen is in the environment where there are huge numbers
of VPN-connections and the firewall runs out of resources. In these cases it
can drop connections and ask for re-authentication.

Just a quick question, does anyone know why CP Secureclient authentication
window would keep popping up, even after successfully connecting and updating
topology?
The connection is up and ok, however at numerous times it asks for re
authentication , whether this be on the Checkpoint firewall or the ACE server
not so sure?
Just wondered if anyone as come across this problem before?
Version of SC are NGX R60, firewall are also NGX
