The following may help ... dd if=/image/current/bootmgr/<boot_manager_file> of=/dev/[rwd0 | rwd1] i.e. The boot manager file for IPSO 4.2 is nkipflash-4.2.bin Note In this command, use rwd0 or rwd1 depending on which is the boot manager device on your appliance. On the IP330, IP650 and IP100 series, the boot manager resides on wd0. For all other platforms which use a boot manager, it resides on wd1 in multi-user mode. In single-user mode only, the Nokia IP350, IP380, IP530, IP710, IP740, IP1220 and IP1260 use wd0. You can also use the command ipsctl kern:bootmgr:bmdev to determine the boot manager device.
