Hi,
is it possible to set a threshold for outgoing smtp? For example, if a
client sends many mails in a short time (maybe because of a virus).
We use NGX R65, two modules and one SmartCenter.
there are some options in the gateway properties -> advanced -> SMTP
that will be used only if you set
smtp resources.
for smtp viruses, you have to use CVP or another antivirus on your mail
gateway.
there are also options in smartdefense, but those will aply only for
mail servers defined, so you cannot setup
such options for outgoing mails.
do you use an internal MTA for outgoing mail, or are the clients allowed
to send directly mails via smtp ?
Thanks
Tom
