Hello Colleagues. Last night we removed two firewalls (Dell 2650s) running R65 HFA70 and brought up two new firewalls (Dell R710s) running R75.10, we started to push policy but it failed and gave us the following errors:
FWCluster R75 Network Security cpp: line 61760, Error: Inside #ifdef block at end of input, depth = 1 FWCluster R75 Network Security 1 error in preprocessor FWCluster R75 Network Security Compilation failed. FWCluster R75 Network Security Operation ended with errors. Before the push we successfully: 1. Updated the firewall cluster object from R65 to R75 2. Established SIC between firewall object and hardware firewalls 3. Updated the topology 4. Applied licenses via Smart update We did open up a ticket with Checkpoint support and sent them our MDS backup so they can recreate this issue. I wanted to know if anyone has ever seen these errors and what steps they took to resolve this. We were able to run a database revision restore, get the old firewalls back online, and push a new policy successfully. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
