Hi, again with a problem.
As I told you before, I have my MC (management
console) version 4.1 with spack 1 running on a W2000 professional, and a FW-1
v4.1, spack 3 on a NOKIA IP650.
Yesterday we have a problem with our main switch
(it comunicate every server and lan segments, particularly the FW with the MC)
and we needed to change the main board, download a the image and it began to run
again. When it was loading on its console, appeared parts of logs from the
FW.
Everybody thought that someone was traying to hack
us!!!
We began to investigate this and we found that
parts of theses messages belonged to files from the FW (theses files are in
/var/log, with name messages.*).
What�s surprise me was that messages that
there were appearing on the switch console belonged to messages from
february (this file on the FW is gzip).
Could somebody tell me what had
happened?
And if somebody knows how the FW and the MC
comunicate, which files and when they interchange.
