ndd -get /dev/hme link_speed
0 means 10m and 1 means 100m
ndd -get /dev/hme link_mode (I think)
0 is HD and 1 is FD

on qfe cards,
for qfe1
ndd -set /dev/qfe instance 1
then
ndd -get /dev/qfe link_speed
ndd -get /dev/qfe link_mode
