[FW-1] IKE error

I'm trying to create a vpn between my company and another company. We both have checkpoint FW-1 3DES. The policy installs OK, but when I try to connect to his http server, nothing happens, Fw-1 creates a log enty: "IKE Log: no common authentication methods between myself and peer", and then the packet gets dropped.
