You need to make sure you are using the same encryption scheme on both
ends...this includes IKE or Manual IPSEC, DES/3DES, etc...

I'm trying to create a vpn between my company and another company. We both
have checkpoint FW-1 3DES.

The policy installs OK, but when I try to connect to his http server,
nothing happens, Fw-1 creates a log enty:

"IKE Log: no common authentication methods between myself and peer", and
then the packet gets dropped.

Does anyone know what we're doing wrong?
