Hi girls/guys, Our Firewall (CP 2000 4.1 SP4 on Nokia IPSO 3.4) "lost" its SMTPDeamon. after an fwstop / fwstart the firewall booted up and seemed to work fine. just the rules for re-writing e-mail didn't work. Then we found out that the in.asmtpd wasn't running (on another firewall we see this when we do a ps -aux--- 21571 0.0 0.0 14756 100 ?? IW 9Nov01 1:07.44 in.asmtpd 25 (fw) man. starting it with "fw asmtpd -p 25" has no effect at all. another fwstop/fwstart didn't help. I rebooted the whole system too, with no affect.
In the fwstart script there is no refference to any smtpd. for snmpd there is, should there be one? Has anyone any idea's?
