Hello, we are currently having this Problem: A RAS-Client with Windows (NT/XP/2000), Securemote 4.1SP5 DES 4199 and Novell Client 4.82 saves a file to a volume on the Netware server (5.1).
Every abt. 1401 Bytes 8 Bytes are inserted (Looking like fragments of a printer-name) thus corrupting the file. This happens to plain text files as well as to MS-Office documents. This does only happen, if encryption is active AND the novell service is used! Storing to NT-shares works perfectly! Changing the MTU does not help. Physical connection is ISDN(EDSS1). The decrypting firewall-module is "Version 4.1 Build 41489 [VPN + DES]". I was told that the same problem had occured before with Version 3.X or 4.0, and that a FW-1 patch was the solution. But no other information is available.
