If you have decided to install Check Point FW-1 on an NT Machine, when
configuring the NT system, DON'T make the system a member of a domain, a
domain controller, or have any kind of trust relationship configured.
Also go to www.phoneboy.com and get the document about Hardening Windows
NT.
I also, suggest that the machine name has nothing to do with your internal
naming convention or in anyway lets people know that it is a security
device.

Hi againg.
When installing FW-1 with NT SRV 4, is it reccomended to install the SRV in
it's own domain or install it as a member server of an existing domain? It
should anyway have nothing to do with the domain on the "inside"??
Thanks!
/Stig
