Do a 'fw logswitch' from the command line, or select File/New from the
log monitor. This will rename your old logs to some name with the date
in it. The current log is called fw.log, fw.logptr, fw.alog, fw.alogptr
etc.

Once you've done this, you can move your old log files (the ones with
the date in the filename) anywhere you want. You wont be able to access
them though the GUI though if they're not in the original directory.

I think the best way is to translate them to text (fw logexport -n -i
filename.log -o filename.txt). Then you can keep the text versions for
reference and store the binary ones away somewhere (or delete them).
