Hi,
I think that this problem is a "well known" one, but I have a lot
of trouble with it.
I have 1 management and 1 module, both FW-1 4.0 on Solaris 2.6
The problem is that the module cannot anymore send his logs to
the management.
I put a lot of putkey from one to the other, on it self also,
without any help.
I can download a policy from the management to the module,
fetch a policy from the module. I can see the module in the
status window, without any problems.
When I check the file /etc/fw/log/fwd.log, I see the following
error :
on the management :
fwd: Authentication from bart failed
fwd: Authentication from bart failed
fwd: Authentication from bart failed
fwd: Authentication from bart failed
on the module :
fwd: Log authentication with 45.81.51.3 failed
fwd: Log authentication with 45.81.51.3 failed
fwd: Log authentication with 45.81.51.3 failed
fwd: Log authentication with 45.81.51.3 failed
fwd: Log authentication with 45.81.51.3 failed
I try all the possibilities I think.
The problem is that this module is on production, and so we can not
stop or start it all the time.
Any idea ?
