Patrick,
Have you looked in the $FWDIR/conf/masters file? This file is what tells FW1 to
direct the log files to. It is a list of IPs that FW1 tries to connect to in
top-to-bottom order. If there is a "+" sign in front of the ip, then it tries
to send to that ip also.
Also, check out the $FWDIR/lib/control.map file. This one defines access
privileges and authentication measures for the control link between the
firewalls.
