Hi all,
8 weeks ago we purchased 2 VPN 210 for our new offices. When i got them
they had 4.1 installed and i only got 4.1 licenses with them .
Our management station (Nokia IP 440) at that moment had 4.0 SP5
installed.
Because we have service contracts for all our firewall products i tried
to get
a license for our management which is 4.1 because a
4.1 management console cannot work with a 4.1 VPN .
Nooooo wayyyyyyy. I made a lot of phone calls. I got 2 times 4.0
temporary keys for
the VPNs which our now not valid any more.
It is not possible to get an upgrade for our management station .
And the best thing is the answer i got yesterday. They cannot give me a
new temporary license
for the 2 VPNS. They want me to change the date of the boxes to 1995 so
that they work .
They said in 1995 the weekday is the same as in this year .
I got this answer from nokia.
I dont think that I like the upgrade process and how they take care of
customers .
