Hi

Thanks for the info - very useful, but:-

1. I thought I had already taken all necessary training for CCSE exam and I
am supposed to be kicking off a fairly large implementation of SecurRemote
NOW (in fact several weeks ago but....!)
2. Can I take this new 'last day' on it's own to supplement my 4.0 training
?
3. One or two mistakes in course materials is pretty much par for the
course but in the Checkpoint CCSE there were MANY
4. Does anyone know why Checkpoint refuse trainers to give out these slides
?
5. Note for Checkpoint - kwolitie kountrul is impartint

"Unfortunately Tim, you will find this problem at many training centers
and not by fault of the training center itself. We are bound by our ATC
contract with Check Point and not allowed to give out copies of the
slides on paper or in a file format. I'm assuming from the rest of your
comments that you took the 4.0 course. Some of the issues you mentioned
have been addressed in the CP2000 (a.k.a. 4.1 SP1) courseware. The lab
review answers are now included in the course material. SecuRemote is
covered more in the fifth day of class. The recommended courses to get
your CCSA and CCSE certification is to take the CCSA, CCSE and VPN for
the Security Professional (the fifth day of class). 30-40% of the CCSE
test now comes from the VPN for Security Professional course which
covers SecuRemote, SecurClient, SecurServer, MEP and SEP configurations
and a little on the VPN-1 appliance and accelerator card. As for
mistakes in the courseware, I'm afraid that if history is any indicator,
you will continue to see mistakes in the courseware...."
