hi

I know of fellow who attended a ISS course in Dallas; without
having sat for Certification exams - got his certicates with
his PALM pilot - way to go ISS!

i think these courses are what you can get out of them. and
depend on the instructor. I think this list should keep track
of good Instructors to circumvent the porblem. I am planning to
take mandatory checkpoint 2000 ad. course / vpn; and good recomendations
on instructors will be appreciated.

cheers

My intention is to:-

1. Complain to VAR who sold course
2. Complain to Checkpoint as at least part of the problem appears to be
their policy ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
3. See if I can repeat course with another training company who may be
better able to circumvent Checkpoint's failings in this area

(am I being unfair to Checkpoint here ? - I think from Julia's response
that I am not - anybody else out there with an opinion on this ?)

Yes,
I can totally relate. I attended the same course (offered by VeriSign), and
had absolutely the same issues.
Do you think we could file a formal complaint and ask to repeat the course?
