I think the stability under Solaris x86 is fantastic. We've had no
problems with it. You can get the Solaris x86 media from www.sun.com for
about $10 I believe. I'm not sure ( I guess I could check) if they are
saying it works with Solaris 8 yet. We've used solaris 7.
I think it's a good deal, the OS is a work horse, and the performance is
great. I've never had my intel solaris machines crash due to the firewall.
