does one have to install SP1 before applying the later releases of SPs?
what does checkpoint recommend?
has anyone ever had a problem uninstalling a SP but unable to do so because the fw thinks service pack was never installed, yet if you do fw ver the build show that the latest service pack you are trying to remove is installed and when you try to reinstall it you get a messages saying the service pack is installed. What could cause this?
what's the best way of solving this problem?
I'm thinking of installing service pack 1 and than applying the correct sp6 (strong encryption issues), hoping sp1 would overwrite sp6.
or
should I reinstall the fw.
or
check for all the files the sp6 installed and remove them manually.
any ideas.
