I am testing out a Nokia appliance for 30 days and would like some
infomation and recommendations.
I currently run my Firewall on a Solaris platform and have noticed that my
shell scripts will not work on the Nokia appliance. There are many commands
that have been removed from the Nokia's OS. How do you convert your
firewall log files into an ASCII format? Does anyone have a script that
allows me to put in a certain date to be converted? I switch my firewall
log files everynight at midnight, and then I would like to run log export on
that certain date or any previous dates. Any information on configuration
of how you manage your Nokia appliaces would be greatly appreciated. I
recieved no documentation when the Nokia box was given to me.
I can not get tech support because I did not purchase the box. If any of
you have some web page references about configuration information I would
appreciate it.
