Sorry if this seems like a newbie question, but I'm a newbie when it comes to
FW-1.....
Having installed and configured on my NT4 machine to see the setup procedure and
make my first time mistakes, I set about doing a clean install of NT Workstation
to go live with FW-1.
This is where my problem is...
First time, everything went fine and I had the firewall up and running pretty
quickly and simply, but from then on I haven't been able to get it to work at
all.
The problem seems to be related to fwauthd which tries unsucessfully to start
polsrvd everytime the FW-1 service is started.
Am I missing something?
I'm doing a basic WinNT install, only TCP/IP, 2 NICs, and routing is fine until
I install FW-1.
Maybe there are some other services required, but I've trawled the docs and
couldn't find anything.
