Hi,

The fw keeps track of ip addresses it sees "forever". 
You may have only 40 active nodes at a time, but if
your DHCP address space is spread over 100 ip
addresses then the fw consider you to have 100 ip
addresses.  You might try having less addresses
available for DHCP with shorter lease times.  

If you need to reset you fw database of ip addresses
do:

stop the fw
ren fwd.h to fwd.h.old
fwd.hosts to fwd.hosts.old
start the fw.

I have not done this in a while, so a second opinion s
worth while.

Of course you could bite the bullet and upgrade to 100
users. (I don't work for CP so I can say that. :) )
