I am running Checkpoint Firewall-1 SP6 VPN-DES on windows NT 4 Server SP6a.
The problem I am experiencing is as follows.
I am trying to use Radius authentication with the radius server that ships
with ACE (Secure ID), I have deined my server object, and the users etc,
whenever I try to authenticate with the user I have created an I assume the
Firewall attempts communication with the Radius server for the password
(i.e. the pin number and current displayed number on the Secure ID token) I
get a DR Watsons error and the authentication just hangs. The Dr Watsons
error is and Access Violation c0000005 and indicates the fw.exe as the cause
of the problem.
Has anyone out there experienced this problem before or if checkpoint is
listening in is this a known bug and if so how do we fix it.
