Yes , I took the same steps also ; "05Jul2000-13:55:16.log" file is
"switched" log file,
first I ran
"fw logswitch" without any problem (this command works) , then tried to
export the switched log file but unfortunatelly "fw logexport" does not work
as I mentioned below...

I would try logswitching it first and then export the "switched" log.
