We just go the (Nokia) VPN-1 Appliance (VPN1RL250)...the small rackmount
unit.
I'm trying to setup RIP routing. The online docs talk about it and the
Checkpoint brochure mentions it can do RIP among other routing
protocols. Also, the Monitor option of the Voyager web configuration
program mentions that RIP is not running.
My questions is, how do I turn on RIP routing? The online docs say to
click on the RIP option under the Routing section of the configuration.
It does not appear on my system. I only have 3 routing options ....
Static Routes, Route Aggregation and Routing Options. None of these
mention RIP.
In general I find these products so much more difficult to configure
than a Linux ipchains firewall solutions, primarily because of the lack
of good documentation and spotty customer support.
