Here I use FW1 with nine 10/100 interfaces, almost 200 rules and over 150
address translations without noticeable performance problems. So I think
your setup will be no problem, but pay attention to the hardware solution
you'll choose.
Here we use Sun E250, 512KB memory, under Solaris 2.6
