I wonder anyone had encountered this before? If you do, can you pls inform me
if your problem can be solved?
Ok, here's the scenario: I ftp files from a client to a destined FTP host with
a Checkpoint Firewall-1 (v4.0 NT) standing in the middle. Certain FTP sessions
were ok. The problem comes when huge no. of files are sent at the same time.
On tracing the problem, I've noticed that the client generates a port
(sequentially) to establish a connection to the FTP host. The problem occurs
when that port coincides with one of the services used in Checkpoint Firewall-1.
Is there anyway to bypass the check on the list of services in Checkpoint when
FTPing? Or are there any other solutions?
Pls help!! This is very urgent!
