Hi again,
I've seen some of us experienced a real nightmare with
upgrading Solaris 2.6, Fw-1 4.0 SP1-3 to SP7
needdless to say I did too ..anyway, I succeded in the
second approach, here are the steps I followed:
1. I did the backup (/opt/CKPfw, /var/opt/CKPfw,
/etc/fw.boot)
(here, I couldn't do the upgrade 'coze the script kept
telling me that I had already done that before, yeah..
it was a total screwup before)
2. Uninstalled CKPfw
3. Reinstalled CKPfw from the CD)
4. Ran fwconfig
5. replaced the /var/opt/CKPfw with the one from the
backup
6. Applied SP7
it took me an hour and runs like a charm.
