Your issues with Neighborhood Network are not new. Do you have the WINS
server set on your dial-up settings?
There are also several documents on how to properly setup split DNS.
Several of my customers have given up dealing with WINS and securemote, and
simply add name entries to a host file, this may or may not work depending
on your users count and amount of hosts required to connect to.

Subject: [FW1] VPN-1 Encrypt / Decrypt Problems
Greetings......
I am having some issues with getting SecuRemote/VPN-1 V4.1 SP2 working
correctly. I have followed all of the docs from ~joe and have not been
able
to resolve them.
1. All of the SecuRemote documents show a clip from the log with encrypt
and decrypt actions taking place. I am only getting decrypt actions but
things seem to be functioning correctly. What am I missing?
2. I am unable to open Network Neighborhood but am able to connect to any
resource via a UNC path.

FW - CP2000 SP2 3DES Unlimited on WINNT 4.0 SP6a
- VPN IP pool is enabled for SecuRemote
- Hybrid mode IKE is enabled and functioning correctly
SR - CP2000 SP2 on Win98

Please get me pointed in the right direction. I've been chasing my tail
with these issues for over a week now. Thanks in advance.
