I'd be surprised if there were any security issues with SETI@home. It
uses port 80 or 1080 to transmit and receive small encrypted blocks of
data (~300K) when it is done with processing - which is usually every
couple of days.

Anyone know if SETI@home is a security concern and if so, what ports 
to block?
