Just some ideas,
Are you using NAT? If so you may need to change the static arp entries. If
this is more general problem then maybe the arp cache on the next hop router
needs to be flushed, some useful info would be if this is an external
interface and is NAT being done? Also, is any traffic at all making to the
firewall through this interface. Try a ping and see if the arp cache of the
router/host picks up the new addess.
Hope this is a help.

Subject: [FW1] Problem after changing Ethernet card
Hi Everybody,
I am facing following problem,
My firewall was running fine. I want to change on of the Ethernet card
connected to the system. I canged it. Suprisingly Firewall functionality is
not working. Then I brought back the old card and inserted it. It started
working.
After changing the card Installed the correct driver.
Is there any where MAC address is written to FW.
Please suggest me the solution.
Thanks in Advance.
gupta.
