I don't know whether you will get an efficient GB
throughput for firewall interfaces.
Recently, I had a requirement for a client, checked
with Nokia, but was told they won't be ready till next
Summer with GB interfaces. I didn't try Sun, since
Sun's basic rule suggests it need 100MHZ cpu power for
100 MB, so you can calculate the number of cpu's and
throughput (if that formula works) for at least two GB
interfaces.
PIX 525's offers GB interface, but they only operate
at about 375 MB efficiency.
