If performance is #1, take a look at Novell's ICS. I probably would'nt
consider and NT solution either. Even on a RAID 0 partition, I have seen
drastic diminishing returns once you get over 2 gigs or so of cached data.
That was approx 3500 users on a T1... I had to set cache aging to like 8
hrs, and that doesn't buy you very much on decreased link utilization.
