Hi,
we currently use SecuRemote for our laptop users to connect back to our
intranet when they are travelling overseas. Most laptops use Win2000. Our
main servers and most desktops are WinNT.
I've setup a rule like this:
source: allusers@any
destination: our network (eg 10.10.0.0, SN 255.255.0.0)
service: ANY
Action: Client Encrypt
Now, when I dial in to the Internet, and then try to connect to an internal
win2K machine it works fine.
(eg, if I go start->run, and enter "\\10.10.x.x\c$" it works)
However, if that machine is a WinNT machine it doesn't work. It comes up
saying that the address can't be found, and that I should check my typing.
I've tried it with several machines of both types, and it always works with
2K, and never with NT.
This is running from a laptop with Win2K.
Has anyone else had this problem and/or know of the solution?
thanks,
Chris Jenkins
