To add to that, make sure your outoing SMTP rule is near the
top of the rulebase to maximize performance.

Can you increase the timeout on your mail server
?
Mail from your mail server will just be routed straight out
to the Internet, so I expect this is more down to firewall load or even your
border router's load.

number of email connections the
firewall can handle simultaneously .
If our internal mail server sends to
much emails he gets a reset condition on opening
the smtp connection to our firewall

Does anyone know how I can increment that maximum , or how I
can see what
the maximum is
?
