Title: RE: [FW1] writing the FW log to a different partition

Create the registry string FWLOGDIR in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CheckPoint\FW1\4.1.  Edit the properties of FWLOGDIR and specify the path where you want the logs written.

Subject:        [FW1] writing the FW log to a different partition

Sorry to bother you all with this......

I've been tasked with researching for a way to get the firewall logs
to write to a different partition.  For example, if the firewall
software resides on the D: drive, then the log files would be created
on the E: or F: drives.  (Personally, my solution would be to increase
the size of the partition where the FW1 software resides, then archive
the oldest logs as required.)

I've already looked in Phoneboy and the FW1 archives but there is no
reference to this.

Thanks,
  Frank
