I am sure I am trying to mail from the account that was registered and
it is failing.
Mail from my gmail account, which is not subscribed to the list, is
getting through.

Are you absolutely *SURE* that you're sending your posts from the same
address as the one you originally registered with? If they're
different, the post will fail silently...
